TechnoLogismiki announces the support of LandXML v1.2 in the upcoming TLWorks 2009

The popular exchange format LandXML v1.2 will be supported in the 2009 version of TechnoLogismiki Works. Both import and export will be supported with respect to a series of entities such as pipenetworks, cgpoints and surfaces.

The LandXML format is open source and allows the exchange of data between different applications. The information exchanged is not limited to geometry and topology of a network (like in DXF) but is extended to a variety of hydraulic and construction parameters such as materials, diameter, shape, friction, flow rate, etc of a pipe.

The programs that will support LandXML are:

• Water networks 2009
• Sewer networks 2009

Using LandXML files, data exchange between TechnoLogismiki Works and third party software that supports the same format such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MX will be made possible.
