TechnoLogismiki Works 2010 is out!

TechnoLogismiki proudly announces the release of TechnoLogismiki Works 2010, the new version of the award-winning collection of engineering programs.

The new programs retain full backwards compatibility and, as always, they are distributed absolutely for free to customers with an active support contract.

Some selected major improvements and new features, with respect to the late Works 2009 series, are as follows:

Water Networks

• New output option: formatted output to Microsoft Word for professional printouts with minimal user intervention
• Improved DXF output with free object labeling.
• New functionality: It is possible to select a color per specification.
• New functionality: A valve can be set in either the upstream or downstream end of a conduit.
• It is possible to use SNAP functionality on background objects.
• Optionally it may be combined with the Water Networks Toolpack.

Water Networks Toolpack

• "Demand distribution", distributes a demand to all the network, depending on the conduits` lengths.
• Import water areas (closed polylines) from DXF and automatically attach them to adjacent nodes
• Exact total water area tool calculates the total area for a specified area category.

Sewer Networks

• New output option: formatted output to Microsoft Word for professional printouts with minimal user intervention
• Improved DXF output with free object labeling.
• Peak flow factor may be computed using: exact statistical method, Greek Regulations, maximum factor P, Gifft, Harmon, Metcalf & Eddy, Babbit
• New functionality: It is possible to select a color per specification.
• More checks for quantities estimation have been added to ensure the integrity of all computed results
• It is possible to select a color per specification.
• It is possible to use SNAP functionality on background objects.
• Solver significant enhancement: added 6 algorithms to calculate peak flow factor and more than 10 for extra sewer inflow.
• Inflow editor has changed to accommodate new options: inflow based on population data.
• Optionally it may be combined with the Sewer Networks Toolpack.

Sewer Networks Toolpack 

• "Placement of conduits at constant depth", places the selected conduit or conduits at a user specified depth.
• "Vertical displacement", offsets the whole network upwards or downwards to its current position.
• "Inflow distribution", distributes a known inflow (absolute number) to the whole network depending on the conduit lengths.
• "Sewer area distribution", distributes a known sewer area to the whole network depending on the conduit lengths.
• "Subcatchments from DXF", imports sewer areas (closed polylines) from DXF.
• "Exact total sewer area", calculates the total area for a specified area category.
• "Delete all inflows" automatically removes the inflows from the network`s nodes.
• "Automatic design" finds the optimal solution of a network using a specified set of specifications.
• Automatically rename all nodes in a profile has been added.

Roadway Pollutants

• Many enhancements in the creation and modification of objects.
• Pollution contours that can be exported in DXF.
