New version: TL Works 2012
TechnoLogismiki proudly presents the new version 2012 of its engineering suite TL Works.
The new version includes many new capabilities, whole new programs and a fresh user interface.
Some of the many enhancements with respect to the previous version 2011 are listed below:

Regarding Sewer Networks, Water Networks, River Flow and Roadway pollutants: Capability of creating a background collage of satellite images. The images are inserted through a special window in any resolution desired. The images are modified automatically (with translation, rotation, skewness) to fit a certain coordinate system. The overlap is precise and the boundary of the images is practically invisible. This allows the full coverage of the area of the project and diminishes the possibility of error. This capability requires an Internet connection. Also, the quality of the satellite images varies.

Moreover, regarding River Flow: Major / minor contours were added. The major contours are thicker, and they are optionally accompanied by their value. These are also included in the DXF output file. Automatic evaluation of the sections based on the contours. Given the contour data and the flows, the creation and analysis of a project takes few minutes!

New program: XL Optimizer. This program is a generic optimization tool that uses Microsoft Excel (versions 2003 and newer) as a platform for the definition of the problem at hand. Practically any problem that can be formulated in a spreadsheet can be tackled by this program. Examples include problems in finance, engineering, resource allocation, scheduling, manufacturing, route finding, etc. Multiple fully-customizable, state-of-the-art Evolutionary Algorithms are available: Custom Genetic Algorithm (GA), Micro-GA, Sawtooth-GA, Simple Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Enhanced PSO, Differential Evolution (DE). All algorithms are homogenized and arranged within an intuitive interface.
The new version of all programs is distributed free of charge to all customers with an active maintenance contract. Note that the first version of Works 2012 is distributed in electronic form only.
