TechnoLogismiki Works 2009 is out!
TechnoLogismiki proudly announces the release of TechnoLogismiki Works 2009, the new version of the award-winning collection of engineering programs.
The new programs retain full backwards compatibility and, as always, they are distributed absolutely for free to customers with an active support contract.
Some of the improvements of the main hydraulic programs, with respect to the late Works 2008 series, are as follows:
Water Networks
- Fully redesigned CAD interface.
- Pipe, ditch and inlet specifications.
- Improved solver with comprehensible error messages.
- Checks for locating and correcting logical input errors such as duplicate nodes and links
- LandXML is fully supported.
- Data entry is separated into plan view and profile view.
- Improved DXF file input.
- Improved background.
- Quantities estimation (pipes, earthworks, inlets, ditches, etc).
- New results form.
- Improved Microsoft Word reports.
- Optionally it may be combined with the Water Networks Toolpack .
- Many minor fixes and new features.
Water Networks Toolpack
- Integrated water hammer checks and placement of pressure release valves in networks without loops.
- Automated placement of air release valves and vacuum valves where necessary.
- Advanced object renaming.
- Special functions for designing pipes.
- Complete integration within Water Networks` user interface .
Sewer Networks
- LandXML import and export is supported.
- Enhanced Microsoft Word reports.
- New tool: network consistency to facilitate the correction of errors.
- New tool: intelligent renaming objects of a certain type.
- Improved background, which is now saved with the main data file.
- Elevations can be either absolute or relative.
- Additional checks in the snow model subroutine were added.
- Many computational refinements were adopted.
- It is possible for ponding to occur at an inlet (wet well) node for a Type I pump.
- The optional maximum conduit flow limit is applied to all flow routing methods.
- Brand new selection form with enhanced functionality.
River Flow
- Non-uniform solver has been re-written.
- Enhanced Microsoft Word reports.
- Re-arranged program menus.
